Managing Email & SMS messages

CommBiz has recently enhanced the ability to view and manage messages on CommBiz, allowing you to simply manage the messages that you receive through your CommBiz service by opting to receive bank messages, emails and/or SMS messages.

This new service feature is easily accessible on your CommBiz service. Users on your CommBiz service can opt-in and opt-out of bank messages, SMS and/or emails. An administrator must elect to switch this on for your service. Full details on how administrators can do this are in the Viewing and Managing Messages user guide.

Once the email and/or SMS functionality has been switched on for your service, you will be able to turn on or off email and/or SMS messages yourself.

Authorisation alerts*

If you’re an authoriser for your CommBiz service, this new message functionality allows you to simply receive system-generated alerts of transactions that are awaiting authorisation.

Authorisation alerts proactively notify you to authorise transactions prior to their cut-off time, resulting in transactions being processed on-time and ensuring all billers, employees and suppliers are paid on-time in Australia or overseas.

You can choose to receive alerts (via bank message, SMS and/or email) for unauthorised transactions, and you can specify which transactions you wish to receive alerts for, including Foreign Exchange transactions and transactions by payment type. You can also customise the alerts you receive by the time the notification will be sent, as well as minimum amounts for transactions for which you want outstanding authorisation notifications.

For full details about how to enable and access messages in your CommBiz service, you can access the Viewing and Managing Messages user guide.
