The Bank is a major participant in the Australian infrastructure industry, and has played the roles of sponsor, equity investor, financial advisor, senior lender and mezzanine lender in road, rail, port and airport projects.

We have played a role in almost every Australian private sector bid in the toll roads sector and almost every bid in the airport sector.

Social infrastructure comprises education, health, housing, corrections and justice facilities and student accommodation. The Bank has also been involved in this sector for more than 20 years as a provider of financial solutions, including sponsor and equity investor.

The Infrastructure team is familiar with a wide range of financial structures and investor preferences (including debt, mezzanine and equity), enabling them to provide informed advice on achievable outcomes in project bids. Specialist skills, including engineering and transport economics, add further value to our proposition.
