Your card benefits - Low Fee card

As a Commonwealth Bank Low Fee or Low Fee Gold credit cardholder, you can enjoy hassle-free, secure shopping while benefiting from low fees. There’s no annual fee on this card for Commonwealth Bank customers who hold a qualifying Commonwealth Bank account or loan at the time of application and spend at least $1,000 for Low Fee and $10,000 for Low Fee Gold (purchases and cash advances) or more per year.

Cardholders can also enjoy a balance transfer rate from other Australian issued credit or store cards of 5.99% p.a. for 5 months, and an interest-free period on purchases of up to 55 days. Please note that the interest free period (up to 55 days) on purchases and most bill payments does not apply to any purchases while a balance transfer remains outstanding, and at the end of the balance transfer period, the interest rate on any outstanding transferred balances converts to the cash advance rate current at that time.

Other benefits include a free additional card, enhanced security chip protection and Secure Internet Shopping for peace of mind whenever you use your card.

You can also enjoy the convenience of MasterCard® PayPass™ which offers a faster, easier way to make purchases, and access MasterCard applause™, an exclusive online booking service.

The Low Fee Gold card delivers additional travel and shopping extras like complimentary International Travel Insurance, commission-free travellers cheques, Purchase Security Insurance and Extended Warranty Insurance.
