Q. Where do I lodge a dispute or provide feedback about a Commonwealth Bank Foreign Exchange ATM transaction?

A. You will need to call 13 2221 or visit a Commonwealth Bank branch to lodge a dispute if the ATM has not dispensed enough foreign cash or if there is a mistake in the amount withdrawn from your account.

Q. Who can use a Commonwealth Bank Foreign Exchange ATM?

A. Anyone with an Australian issued debit or credit card (excluding American Express and Diners Club) can use these ATMs.

Q. What does it cost to withdraw foreign cash from a Commonwealth Bank Foreign Exchange ATM?

A. You will be charged a foreign exchange fee of $8 if you use the Foreign Exchange ATM. The Commonwealth Bank will not charge any other direct fees for using a Commonwealth Bank Foreign Exchange ATM to Commonwealth Bank and non-Commonwealth Bank cardholders.
Note: Cash advance fees may apply should a credit card be used or further fees may be charged by your card issuer.

Q. What currencies and denominations can I withdraw from a Commonwealth Bank Foreign Exchange ATM?

A. You can withdraw US Dollars ($50), Euros (€20), Great British Pounds (£20) and New Zealand Dollars ($50) Note: Only these denominations are given and cannot be exchanged for smaller denominations.

Q. How much can I withdraw from a Commonwealth Bank Foreign Exchange ATM in each transaction?

A. You can withdraw up to AUD $1000 (excluding foreign exchange fee) per transaction.

A. A Foreign Exchange ATM is an ATM that dispenses foreign cash.  Commonwealth Bank Foreign Exchange ATMs dispense foreign cash in US Dollars, Euros, Great British Pounds and New Zealand Dollars only.
