What is Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct^#?

Customers already opted-in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct will continue to have all their Awards points earned on their credit card automatically transferred, at the applicable redemption rate described above, to their Qantas Frequent Flyer account on a monthly basis.

Customers who wish to redeem their Awards points for Qantas Frequent Flyer points need to opt-in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct. Once you have opted-in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct your Awards points earned will be automatically transferred, at the applicable redemption rate described above, to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account on a monthly basis. Customers opting-in will not be able to transfer their existing Awards points balance to their Qantas Frequent Flyer account – only future Awards points will be transferred. They must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn and redeem Qantas Frequent Flyer points. A joining fee applies. Membership and points are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. An additional annual fee of $10 will be charged by the Bank for opting in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct. Points will be transferred monthly. If you opt-in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct, you will be unable to redeem future Commonwealth Awards points earned for any other Awards in the Commonwealth Awards program after you have opted-in. Awards points are only earned on eligible transactions and the maximum number of points you can earn in a year is capped (see Commonwealth Awards program terms and conditions). Commonwealth Bank charges an annual fee of $10 for opting in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct.
