Commonwealth Bank Chairman Catherine Livingstone AO and Chief Executive Ian Narev have backed a joint statement with the three other major banks to call for certainty and stability.

The statement demonstrates our desire to act together with the Federal Government to agree a properly constituted inquiry into financial services that will support confidence in the sector and contribute to a sense of certainty for our people, customers and communities we serve.
