Commonwealth Bank now accepting applications for First Home Loan Deposit Scheme

CBA now accepting applications for the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme

CBA now accepting applications for First Home Loan Deposit Scheme (FHLDS).

From today, customers can call our dedicated team of Home Lending Specialists on 13 2224 or visit the CommBank website to apply for the Scheme and from tomorrow, via CommBank branches and Brokers.

Commonwealth Bank Group Executive Retail Banking Services, Angus Sullivan, said: “We’re excited that from today customers can start applying for loans with CBA for the Scheme. Since it was announced that we would be joining the Scheme, we have received thousands of enquiries from customers in both metropolitan and regional areas and have booked in hundreds of appointments with interested customers.

“We’re pleased that the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation has chosen CBA to offer loans under the Scheme. As Australia’s largest lender, we help more Australians buy their first home than any other bank and it’s exciting that we can help get more first home buyers into the market under the Scheme.

“We understand that saving a deposit for a home can be challenging and we support initiatives like the FHLDS that could potentially save customers thousands and help them into their first home sooner.”

The Scheme will complement our flexible home loans, competitive interest rates and award-winning property app.

“Customers interested in buying their first home with CBA should speak to one of our lenders over the phone or in a CommBank branch who can assess their eligibility for this federal government scheme or one of our other first home buyer initiatives that might help get them into their new home faster,” said Sullivan.

For more information or to apply for the Scheme with CBA, customers can call 13 2224 or visit the CommBank website. From tomorrow, customers can visit a CommBank branch or speak to a Broker.
