Commonwealth Bank reopens Springvale Branch

Commonwealth Bank reopens Springvale Branch

Customers and local businesses in Springvale can bank in the newly refurbished branch from today.

Commonwealth Bank has reopened its branch in Springvale following the devastating fire incident last year, which affected a number of customers and employees of the branch.

Area Manager Christopher Beames said his team is delighted to be back in the newly refurbished premises.

“We were overwhelmed by the support we received from the community following the fire, and it was great to have been able to continue to provide banking services to local customers and businesses through our temporary branch.

“We look forward to continuing to be part of such a vibrant and cohesive community, and assist local customers with all their banking needs from the brand new Springvale branch.”

Commonwealth Bank set up a temporary pop-up branch shortly after the incident in November 2016, allowing customers to perform all their essential banking operations.

The newly refurbished branch, which reopened for business today, features Commonwealth Bank’s latest design and state of the art banking technology.

Customers will have free Wi-Fi, an iPad NetBank Kiosk, video conferencing, change machine, bulk coin counting, and brand new ATMs and Intelligent Deposit Machines at their disposal. This comes with the usual services provided by our customer service representatives.

The branch will operate from: 9.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am – 5.00pm on Friday at 317 Springvale Road, Springvale.
