Welcome to our Newsroom

Welcome to our Newsroom

CBA’s General Manager Communications Kate Abrahams talks about what the new CBA Newsroom means for you.

If you’re close to the Australian media landscape, then you’ll know that it’s still going through significant change.

We, too, are always looking at how we can improve sharing our news with you and this, our new CBA Newsroom, is a move towards delivering this.

We have simplified our site, removing complicated hamburger menus and countless links off to catalogues of old articles and releases. You can now filter and display information by date, by topic, or by content type.

You’ll still find all our latest media releases, transcripts of speeches from our leaders and our views on a number of key matters. We’re now going to share more stories from within CBA as well. Stories from our people.

We realise news breaks on Twitter, and that’s why our Newsroom is also there to share our news first. We encourage media and community leaders to retweet and embed our tweets from @CBAnewsroom as official statements from CBA.

As the technology bank evolves, so too will how we deliver news. We hope you like CBA’s new home for news, and thank you for stopping by.
