Ryan Felsman is Senior Economist (Director) – Business & Industry at Commonwealth Bank. In his role, Ryan is responsible for the analysis of economic trends and developments in the Australian economy, as well as the likely impact on industry, business and financial markets.
He writes regular commentaries and presents to clients and customers across the CBA Group. He has appeared regularly on Sky News, Channel 7’s Sunrise, SBS World News and ABC News Radio as part of his media commitments. Ryan has also co-anchored the CommSec Market Update podcast each morning.
Ryan has been with the CBA Group for 15 years and has more than 25 years’ funds management experience, having previously worked as Chief Economist at CommSec, Investment Manager Global Resources and Senior Economist - both at Colonial First State Global Asset Management.
Ryan holds a Master of Commerce (Economics, Government & Business majors) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics major) from Macquarie University, Sydney.
