Commonwealth Bank has extended its 110 year partnership with Australia Post for another decade. This renewed in-principle commitment gives CBA customers the widest range of banking options in the country: via the largest branch network in Australia, the leading CommBank app, our Australian-based contact centres and over 3,500 Bank@Post Australia Post outlets.

As two of the nation’s biggest organisations, CBA’s long-standing partnership with Australia Post ensures communities across Australia continue to have local access to over-the-counter banking services.

CBA is committed to maintaining the largest branch network in Australia, with around $50 million invested each year in new branches and refurbishments. Today’s Australia Post announcement will serve to complement this ongoing investment in face-to-face banking services.

The renewed agreement gives CBA customers the option to complete personal and business banking transactions at any of the 3,500 Bank@Post Australia Post outlets, including withdrawals, cash and cheque deposits, credit card repayments, passbook transactions, and bill payments.

CBA customers can visit any of the 3,500 Australia Post outlets with the Bank@Post sign, and complete the following banking transactions using their Card / PIN, Passbook, Deposit-only Card*, or Barcoded Deposit Book*:

  • Withdrawals (up to $2,000 per day)
  • Cash deposits (up to $6,000 per day)
  • Cheque deposits
  • Passbook transactions (up to $2,000 per week)
  • Account balance enquiries
  • Credit card repayments
  • Bill payments
