Australians are increasingly doing business on the go, and with the launch of CBA’s latest CommBiz Mobile app, businesses now have access to a more seamless and secure platform that places business operations at their fingertips.

“The latest CommBiz Mobile has been developed in close consultation with our customers – addressing user feedback and building an updated app that better meets their needs1,” said General Manager, Digital & Transformation Kim Hughes.

Through the new-look app, businesses can make transfers and payments, authorise or reject payments, and view real-time balance and transaction details. Users can also view and settle foreign exchange trades. The app features advanced fraud detection technology, and smart multi-factor authentication for use with CommBiz on desktop.

The launch of the enhanced CommBiz Mobile follows a 17 per cent increase in the monthly volume of business payments authorised on mobile in the past 12 months2. The latest version brings the award-winning CommBank App experience to businesses to help save valuable time with quick PIN login, intuitive navigation, and notification support.

"We're seeing corporates increasingly using mobile devices for banking, a task once limited to desktops. So, we’re bringing the best of retail digital design to our institutional and corporate customers to allow them to seamlessly review, transact and approve on their mobile device. With $4 trillion in payments now going through the CommBiz platform in FY25, many of our customers are looking forward to our new mobile features," said Ms Hughes.

“This latest update isn't just about a new interface - it's about improving how businesses can interact with their finances. We’ll continue to add new features to the app, with the ambition to deliver a leading AI driven app for our corporate customers."
