CommBank Tap & Pay (Android)
You can now choose which network is used to process debit card payments: the Mastercard/Visa network or the eftpos network. If you don’t choose an option when making a payment, the merchant's preferred network will be used.
The eftpos CHQ option in CommBank Tap & Pay is no longer available. To make CHQ payments from your second linked debit account, you’ll need to insert a physical card into the terminal. You can also set up a new debit card for that account and add it to your digital wallet for future payments.
Apple Pay (iPhone & Apple Watch)
You can no longer choose which network is used to process direct debit payments from your Apple Wallet. To choose your preferred network (i.e. Mastercard/Visa or eftpos), you’ll need to insert a physical card into the terminal.
