This App is owned and operated by Commonwealth Bank of Australia ABN 48 123 123 124 and its Related Bodies Corporate from time to time (we, us, our). Related Body Corporate has the meaning given to that term in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

We collect and store information when you download, install, register or login to use this App. We may disclose that information to our contractors, suppliers and agents to assist in maintaining this App. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by this Privacy Notice as well as our Privacy Policy.

THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Technical Information about the Mobile Device and Application

When using the App, we will collect information about your mobile device and specific usage information, which may include:

i. mobile device manufacturer and model;
ii. hardware capabilities;
iii. operating system version;
iv. identifier and App version information;
v. unique push notification identifier;
vi. unique application identifier; and
vii. carrier.

Usage Information and Analytics

When using the App, we will collect information about specific usage and analytics, which may include:

i. application state, events and usage statistics;
ii. reader interaction logs (including reader identifiers and technical reader information);
iii. GPS data, in conjunction with presenting at a mobile ID reader;
iv. in building location data; 
v. error logs;
vi. country and city based on IP address lookups; 

and information related to:

vii. visitors registered;
viii. reported property faults;
ix. unlocking your locker;
x. coupons;
xi. notifications and messages;
xii. booking a workspace (where the functionality is available for a commercial building);
xiii. finding a colleague; and
xiv. finding a space (meeting room).

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED?

We will collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information we collect about you and your mobile device. We will collect personal information including mobile device and usage data. We collect this data primarily using a software development kit we use in the App.
  • Location Data. We collect and log your mobile device's GPS data in conjunction with presenting a mobile ID to a reader for the purpose of allowing entry into and exit from our commercial buildings. We also collect and log your real-time location information whilst you are in one of our location aware commercial buildings for security purposes and to enable other App functionality where real-time location is required. The App will not retain any of your past logged real-time location information. The App only logs your real-time location information to conduct real-time workplace surveillance when you are in the range of one of our location aware commercial buildings. You may choose not to use the location services but please note that disabling location services will provide a lesser user experience. 
  • Unique application numbers. When you install the App, a unique identifier for the application will be generated and sent to us. Additionally, when internal systems enable new features or services, new unique identifiers may be generated and shared with us.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect your personal information to:

i. License the App to you and to enable us to provide you with the App and any associated products or services.
ii. Provide you with software updates and support.
iii. Improve and develop new products and services.
iv. Communicate with you about the App.
v. Fulfil our legal and administrative obligations.
vi. Enforce this Privacy Notice and the Terms of Use.
vii. Protect the rights, property or safety of us, our customers or others.

We base our right to collect your personal information on the need to provide you with the App, as stated above.

Disclosure Required by Law

We may cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying users who use the App for illegal activities. Therefore, we will respond to subpoenas, warrants, or other court orders regarding information concerning any user. We will, at our discretion, disclose information, including personal information, if we reasonably believe that we are required to do so by law.

DATA SECURITY

Wherever personal information is within the App, we take reasonable steps to protect the personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We train employees on this Privacy Notice guidelines.

In addition, we take precautions to protect personal information processed by the App: we use industry-standard security measures, such as firewalls and encryption technology, which are reasonably designed to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information.

DATA RETENTION

We will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity or services described above or for as long as we are lawfully required to do so.

Anonymous information used for statistical purposes may be stored for a longer period..

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

YOUR OPT-OUT RIGHTS

You can stop all collection of information by the App easily by uninstalling the App. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

You can contact us and ask to view your information. For more detailed information, you may need to fill out a request form. If your information isn’t correct or needs updating, let us know straight away (see Contact Us section).
