We’re proud to be the largest supporter of football in Australia’s history.
We’ve been the naming rights partner of the Australian women’s national team, the CommBank Matildas, since 2021, and welcomed the Australian men’s national team, the CommBank Socceroos in 2025, as part of our ongoing commitment to Australian football.
In addition to the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos, we are principal partner of the national youth teams, the CommBank Emerging Championships and a partner of the Coles MiniRoos program. We are also a passionate supporter of the CommBank Pararoos and CommBank ParaMatildas.
From grassroots initiatives to players competing on the world stage, we’re partnering with Football Australia to grow the game and create more opportunities for everyone to enjoy football.

Football Australia’s Growing Football Fund, backed by CommBank, provides community football initiatives, grants and educational resources that help clubs build capability and create more opportunities for players, coaches and volunteers.
Together, we’re strengthening the foundations of Australian football and building a more inclusive and sustainable future for the game.
We’re investing in grassroots football clubs and associations to advance the growth and development of women and girls in football. Clubs and associations can apply for grants to support key initiatives that create greater participation and development opportunities for female players and coaches.
The next round of the Growing Football Community Grants open Tuesday, 8 September 2026 and close Tuesday, 20 October 2026.
