We’re continuously building a culture of equality, inclusion and respect that embraces diversity. Our six employee-led networks champion this across the company. Through these networks, we celebrate everything that makes our people unique and provide them with platforms to grow personally and professionally. We’re a thriving community with empowering networks that help us drive awareness and meaningful change.

Advantage ensures that no matter what age or life stage our people are going through, they feel included and confident to unleash their full potential when they work with us.

“Being part of Advantage means I’m more than an employee within a business unit. I’m part of a like-minded community that’s passionate about improving the lived experience for our people across CommBank.”

Richard – General Manager, Financial Services Technology

ENABLE focuses on disability and accessibility. This network supports our people to share lived experiences, and highlights the benefits of creating an inclusive environment for all.

“I quietly followed ENABLE for a few years. For some people, it can be difficult to put themselves out there by disclosing their disability. After becoming more involved in the monthly forums, particularly with the job I have now, it’s really important for me to be involved, speak up and make things better for my peers where I can.”

Scott – Continuous Improvement Manager

Mosaic is our cultural inclusion employee-led network. This network recognises the important role that everyone’s cultural background plays in shaping lives at home, work and in the community.

“When you migrate from another country, you want to do everything you can to hold onto your roots. I’ve always fostered my relationship with my Indian heritage which has played a huge role in how I define my cultural identity. Being a member of MOSIAC allows me to express my culture in a supportive environment where differences are celebrated.”

Rupali – Consultant, Institutional Banking & Markets Learning

Rupali

Unity is our LGBTIQ+ and ally network. This network creates an inclusive group that fosters social and support relationships for the community. The purpose of Unity is to advocate a culture of inclusion and respect regardless of sex, sexuality, gender and expression.

“I’m proud to be part of Unity, a community that’s close to my heart. Advocating for our colleagues and being able to make a difference is what I enjoy the most. Our network provides a safe environment for people to share experiences, raise concerns and feel the support from the Unity family.”

Bradley, National Network - Co-Lead

WeCan debunks the thinking that gender equality is just a women’s issue – women can, men can, we all can. Gender inequality impacts us all. This network is here to create a safe, respectful, inclusive environment to break the stereotypes and support everyone when they need. The network does this through elevating the voices of all genders and advocating awareness to drive behavioural change.

“What I love most about being part of the WeCan group is the ability to build connections with likeminded people, who are passionate about topics that really matter. It allows me to have a voice for those that struggle to get their message out to the network. It’s a platform where I can grow my own personal brand and grow my network within CommBank, which is important to me.”

Rhiannon – Relationship Manager, Premier Banking

Yana Budjari supports our First Nations people. This network empowers our people to connect meaningfully with Indigenous peoples, programs and communities. It’s also a safe space for our First Nations people to come together, support each other, discuss community affairs and develop their understanding of the people power across the company.

“Often, the question I get asked is ‘I want to do something to support with reconciliation, but don’t know what’ and joining our network is the first step. Reconciliation is pivotal and we need to learn about Australia’s past to move forward. The more we learn, connect and share our experiences, the more we respect each other. Being part of this network allows me to see the benefits of goodwill really turned into action.”
