Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for the $40 Everyday Essentials offer, you must open your first CommBank Everyday Smart Access Account online or in a branch between 7 May 2026 (12:01am, AEST) and 30 June 2026 (11:59pm AEST) (‘the offer period’).  The Everyday Essentials Cashback offer can only be claimed once per customer, during the offer period.  

This offer is available for customers aged 18 years and above at the time of account opening and who have never held a CommBank Everyday Smart Access Account previously. Single accounts only. Excludes joint and Everyday Offset accounts. 

You must not have held a CommBank Credit Mastercard, or CommBank Debit Mastercard, CommBank Business Credit Mastercard or CommBank StepPay digital card at any time after 31 December 2019, to be eligible for the cashback/s.   

How to Qualify for the Cashback  

Once your Everyday Smart Access account has been opened, eligible customers can access the offer from 7 May 2026 to 30 June 2026 (11:59PM AEST), by spending a minimum of $10 in one transaction using your CommBank Debit Mastercard at each of the below merchants, to receive $10 cashback per merchant, for up to $40 cashback in total (across all merchants). Limit of one offer redemption per merchant, per customer. The offer does not qualify you for the CommBank Yello program.   • Amazon (Online) – Use any eligible CommBank Debit Mastercard to redeem this offer. To qualify for this offer you must spend $10 or more in one or more transactions at amazon.com.au on your eligible Mastercard by the 30 June 2026 (11:59 PM). Cashback offers can only be claimed once unless stated otherwise. 
  • Chemist Warehouse (Online & In-store) - Use any eligible CommBank Debit Mastercard to redeem this offer. The spend limit does not include any health fund claim that is paid by your health fund. Excludes prescriptions. Offer eligible for online purchases at chemistwarehouse.com.au. Offer ends 30 June 2026 (11:59 PM). 
  • Uber [Rides Only] (Online) - Use any eligible CommBank Debit Mastercard to redeem this offer. Offer eligible for online payments only at uber.com/au/en. Excludes Uber Eats, Uber Pass, Uber CarShare and Lime Bike or Scooter hire. Cashback will not be applied if card used to pay is changed after the order has been placed. Offer ends 30 June 2026 (11:59 PM). 
  • Uber Eats (Online) – Use any eligible CommBank Debit Mastercard to redeem this offer. Cashback won't be applied if you switch the card used to pay after the order has been placed. Offer valid for orders made within Australia, in AUD. Offer eligible for online payments only at ubereats.com/au. Offer ends 30 June 2026 (11:59 PM).

  1. Shop in participating stores or online. 
  2. Pay with your eligible CommBank Debit Mastercard as specified in the terms and conditions for this offer.  
  3. You will receive the cashback into your account, typically paid within 14 business days of a qualifying purchase.  
  4. You’re unable to claim if you use a payment platform such as Afterpay, Zip Pay or PayPal. 
  5. You must spend the required amount ($10) in one transaction.  
  6. Payment must be made within Australia in AUD.

Getting Your Cashback:

Cashback will be paid to you when you make a purchase in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of that offer. Cashback is typically received within 14 business days of a qualifying purchase, but in some cases may take longer. Cashback will be paid into your CommBank Everyday Smart Access account. Your Everyday Smart Access account must remain open and active in order to be eligible for the cashback.  

Cashback payment will appear as <CommBank Yello Cashback Offers> in the CommBank App and <CBCASHBACK> in Netbank.
