What is the Service Delegate Authority form used for?

  • A Service Delegate is a permission appointed to a CommBiz User to electronically authorise some Maintenance Requests without the need to print, sign and return paperwork. Service Delegates are also responsible for appointing Card Administrators, who manage Card Facilities linked to the CommBiz Service.

    The Service Delegate Authority form is used to appoint or remove CommBiz Users as Service Delegates. It also defines how many Service Delegates are required to process a Maintenance Request.

    A Service Delegate can be appointed:

    • as part of the CommBiz Application when setting up a new CommBiz Service; or
    • by an Administrator, on an existing Service, who will need to submit a Service Delegate Maintenance Request. Only identified CommBiz Users can be appointed as Service Delegates. How do I become identified on CommBiz?

    Once the Administrator has submitted the request and printed the Service Delegate Authority forms, the forms will need to be signed and returned to bankfeed@cba.com.au for processing.

Completing the Service Delegate Authority form

  • By signing a Service Delegate Authority form, account owners consent to who and how many Service Delegates are required to authorise requests on the CommBiz Service.

    The Service Delegate Authority form has 3 parts:

    Section 1 – Declaration and Consent

    This informs account owners that the Users listed will have Service Delegate authority and will be able to electronically authorise Maintenance Requests and appoint Card Administrators. We won’t need any signatures here.

    Section 2 – Service Delegates

    This shows the number of Service Delegates required to electronically authorise a request. The table lists all new and existing Users who will have the Service Delegate permission once this request has been processed.

    Section 3 – Declaration and Acknowledgement

    The Declaration and Acknowledgement needs to be signed by the Director(s) or Authorised Officers for all accounts on the Service. By signing this, account owners are acknowledging:

    • The number of Service Delegates required to electronically authorise requests;
    • That Service Delegates are entitled to electronically authorise requests, for their accounts on the Service, on their behalf;
    • They have read and agree to the CommBiz Terms and conditions and/or International Payments and Foreign Exchange PDS
