What is the Green Buildings Tool?

Whether you have a single property or a larger portfolio, the CommBank Green Buildings Tool helps you to identify the range of potential sustainability upgrade options, their cost, impacts and outcomes – on both your business and the environment. 

Assessing these opportunities is an important activity for landlords, owner occupiers or tenants throughout various stages of a property's lifecycle. This could be prior to purchase or as part of implementing your sustainability strategy.

How does it work?

  • The Green Buildings Tool:

    • Estimates potential savings by combining best in class third-party benchmark data from CFP, NABERS and user input information about a building
    • Generates a tailored recommendation of cost-saving upgrades that will impact the value, running costs and green credentials of an individual property. 
    • Aggregates these improvements across a portfolio of any size, showing the ongoing impacts of sustainable upgrades on your portfolio
    • Provides live updates as measures are implemented, so that a clear view of the property portfolio is always available to review.
