Equifax Verification Exchange® Service Consent

You authorise Equifax Verification Exchange® to share your name, date of birth and address information with your employer, a past employer or an intermediary acting for them (such as a payroll services provider) and to obtain employment income, history and related information they may hold about you. Equifax acts on your behalf, relying on this consent and your right to access your personal information under the Privacy Act. Equifax provides this service in accordance with its Verification Exchange Collection Statement, which explains its process in more detail (including how it collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information).

Where Equifax obtains relevant employment income, history and related information it will provide it to CBA. CBA may then use that information to populate and verify your employment and employment income details in accordance with its own policies.
