About

Our strategy is supported by regular investor engagement and roadshows to ensure the Bank’s international profile is maintained and its credit strength is well understood by investors and intermediaries.

The Group Funding team is part of Group Treasury. Group Funding is responsible for keeping the ratings agencies informed of all material developments in the Bank’s business which may impact on the credit ratings and therefore affect the cost of the Bank’s wholesale funding.

Funding diversification

Group Funding’s role is to ensure that the Bank has ready access to funding from capital markets offshore and in Australia.

  • Contingent funding sources including access to various central bank facilities, including the Committed Liquidity Facility (CLF), providing the Group with the ability to borrow funds on a secured basis, in all market conditions; and
  • Access to the RBA Term Funding Facility (TFF).

The major borrowing programs are:

  • Euro and US Medium-Term Note Programmes
  • US and Euro Commercial Paper Programmes
