Our commitment

As a proud partner of Football Australia, and the largest brand investor in Australian women’s football, we’re committed to developing and promoting equality and inclusiveness in Australian sport.

With 150,000+ girls participating every year, football is growing rapidly in local communities nationally. From supporting grassroots initiatives to the elite game, we believe it’s important to hero Australian girls and women and their achievements through football.

Commonwealth Bank Matildas

We’re the proud naming rights partner of the national women’s football team, the Matildas. Formed more than 40 years ago, the Matildas have gone from strength to strength on the international football stage, currently ranked in the top 10 in the world.

We look forward to continuing to support the Matildas as they lead up to hosting the world on home soil in 2023.

We’re also supporters of the elite pathway and junior teams, the Young Matildas (under 20s) and Junior Matildas (under 17s), helping to grow the next generation of national football stars.

Socceroos and Miniroos

Continuing our commitment to support football at all levels, we’re an official partner and bank of the men’s national team, the Socceroos; and a partner of the MiniRoos program, which introduces kids 4-11 to the game of football, potentially unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Matildas.
