How it works

  • You can easily, safely and securely complete your personal and business banking transactions at Bank@Post post offices, such as withdrawals, deposits and cash exchanges, including passbooks during normal business hours.

    CommBank customers can also use Australia Post’s ‘Cash Exchange’ service of up to $1,000 at participating post offices (a flat fee applies).

Banking for personal customers

  • CommBank cards and Passbooks

    • Deposit up to $8,000 per transaction (cash and coin)
    • Withdraw up to $2,0002 a day with your card, or over a 7–day period with your Passbook

    Cheque deposits

    • Allow up to 7 working days for cheque deposits to be cleared

    Credit cards

    • Repayments up to $8,000 per transaction
    • Cash advances up to $2,000 a day2.

Banking for business customers

  • Cheque deposits

    • Allow up to 7 working days for cheque deposits to be cleared

    CommBank Business cards

    • Withdraw up to $2,000 a day2

    Deposit Only cards or Barcoded Deposit Slips:

    • Deposit up to $8,000 per transaction
    • Deposits made using a barcoded deposit slip are available the next business day.
