How does it work?

  1. Identify
    Consider if your clients have additional financial needs including clients you’ve already introduced.
  2. Refer
    Once you have made contact with the client, complete the referral form (PDF) and send it to our Commercial Connect team. Please ensure you explain to the client that you will receive a referral fee by referring them.
  3. Convert
    We’ll then contact the client and set them up with what they need.
  4. Earn
    We pay you a referral fee.

What you should know

What to do

  • Tell your clients you may receive a fee and the amount. Do this when asking for permission to refer them.
  • Keep client and CommBank information confidential.
  • Be honest and upfront in all of your dealings with your clients.

What not to do

  • Give your clients advice about CommBank products or make any statement that may influence them to sign up for any of our products.
  • Act as if you represent the Bank or have the authority to enter into binding contracts on behalf of the Bank.
  • Become involved in negotiations or disputes with your clients, unless authorised by us.
  • Change any promotional material we give you.
