A new-look CommBiz Mobile app is coming soon

We're redesigning the CommBiz Mobile app to make your business banking easier. The new experience will be rolled out from July 2025 on the App Store and Google Play.

How it works

  • CommBiz Administrators

    • When you opt in for CommBiz Mobile, all your users get access
    • If you opt out of CommBiz Mobile it gets cancelled overnight and all users are notified with a message in CommBiz
    • Opting in or out of CommBiz Mobile won't change user permissions or CommBiz settings
  • CommBiz users

    • You need to be personally identified as a CommBiz user before you can use the app (your Administrator can set this up for you)
    • Your CommBiz daily authorisation limit also applies to CommBiz Mobile. If you go over your daily limit, we'll let you know
    • If you have View access you can see the balance, transaction history and details for accounts you're authorised to view

Getting started

    1. Make sure you've been personally identified as a CommBiz user by CommBank. If not, your Administrator will need to complete the online form and instructions
    2. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Each user can register up to 4 devices including iPhone, iPad, Android mobile and tablet
    3. Activate the app to make it fully secure. You’ll need to enter a NetCode and accept the terms and conditions

Important changes in the new CommBiz Mobile app

The updated CommBiz Mobile app uses eToken only. If you currently use a physical token, we’ll switch you over to eToken when you register the new app and deactivate your physical token.

Before you upgrade

  1. Ask your Administrator if your service is enabled for eToken​
  2. If you’re an Administrator, call us on 13 2339 to enable eToken for your service ​

The new CommBiz Mobile app will be available on Android 8+ and iOS 16+.

Things you should know

  • 1Push notifications are only available for iOS devices.

    2Foreign Exchange and Trade capabilities are available to CommBiz Markets Foreign Exchange clients only. Clients can register their interest to enable Foreign Exchange in CommBiz via a Maintenance Request in the Admin tab from CommBiz desktop.
