An audit certificate - or bank confirmation - is a document provided by the bank upon request by an auditor. This is done on behalf of a business for audit purposes.
The certificate serves as an independent confirmation of the business’ accounts, lending and financial relationship with the bank.
Auditors can request an audit certificate either directly from CommBank, or through Confirmation – a third-party supplier where requests are submitted via their portal.
Auditors can request General and/or Treasury audit certificate(s) via email from the CommBank Audit Support Team at [email protected].
The below forms will need to be completed and submitted with the request:

Government and Bankwest requests cannot be accepted via Confirmation - please refer to ‘Requests via CommBank’ process.
Please note requests submitted via Confirmation will incur fees from Confirmation. CommBank fees will not be charged for these requests. For more information, please contact Confirmation at [email protected].
