All companies in Australia must be registered with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). It’s your responsibility to keep your registration details up to date. You should also notify us if your details change.
When a company is deregistered with ASIC, it ceases to exist as a legal entity. This means:

When a company is deregistered, we're required to comply with ASIC requirements for dealing with deregistered companies. This may involve:
If we identify that your company has been deregistered, we’ll notify you by email or letter. Once notified, you should contact us as soon as possible and confirm whether you plan to reinstate your company with ASIC.
If you reinstate your company within 60 days of receiving our notification, we’ll unfreeze your accounts and you can resume transactions as usual. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll remit the funds (excluding debts) and close the accounts.

If your company hasn't been deregistered yet, you may be able to stop the deregistration.

We’re required to freeze the accounts of all deregistered companies. We do this by placing a stop on the accounts to prevent transactions. We must then remit the funds to ASIC and close the accounts.
If the company has been reinstated within 60 days of receiving our notification, we'll remove the account stop and you can continue to transact on the accounts as usual.
If more than 60 days have lapsed since our notification, we'll remit the funds to ASIC and close the account.
