We offer two types of Third Party car insurance - Third Party Property Damage, Fire and Theft and Third Party Property Damage - but what exactly do they cover you for? Here’s a look.

While the two types of Third Party covers don’t offer the same level of cover as Comprehensive insurance, they can cover you for damage you cause to someone else’s vehicle or property.

Here’s what you’re covered for with our Third Party Property Damage, Fire and Theft insurance:

  • Loss or damage to your vehicle caused by fire or theft
  • Liability for damage your vehicle causes to other people’s property, up to the value of $20 million

Our Third Party Property Damage, Fire and Theft insurance also includes these additional benefits:

  • Liability cover for damage any substitute vehicle you’re driving causes to other people’s property
  • Cover for towing and storage costs
  • The uninsured motorist extension, up to the value of $4,000. This can help to cover you if your vehicle is damaged by someone who doesn’t have car insurance
  • Temporary cover for your replacement vehicle, for up to 14 days

As the name suggests, this insurance covers you for damage your vehicle causes to other people’s property, up to the value of $20 million.

Our Third Party Property Damage insurance also includes these additional benefits:
