We're continually making improvements to NetBank. In fact, we've taken out CANSTAR's award for Best Online Banking, six years in a row. Introducing new features and making NetBank more reliable than ever means that from time-to-time, NetBank or some accounts and features may not be available. We are committed to giving you as much notice as possible and apologise for any inconvenience.

Our online innovations continue to revolutionise the online banking sector in Australia. Here are some of the recent changes to NetBank:

  • More details on your purchases - Find out where, when and how you made a purchase. We've improved the Transactions screen to give you more info on your purchases (including pending transactions which can take up to 10 business days to process). You can now check where and when you bought an item and which card you used. Go to View accounts > Transactions then choose the + sign to select which transaction you want more info on.
  • Closed account transactions - Check, print or export transactions on your closed accounts and cancelled cards. Need to see what you've spent or who you've paid, even though you've closed your account or cancelled a lost card? No problem. You can now check all your transactions two business days after closing your account or cancelling your card. See up to two years worth of transactions for accounts closed in the last two years. Go to View accounts> Transactions > Show recently closed accounts.
  • Interest & tax summary - We've created a summary page so you can see the interest you've earned on your accounts, and paid on your loans. We'll also confirm if you've provided your Tax File Number (TFN). It's a good idea to tell us your TFN to avoid having interest withheld. Go to View accounts > Interest & tax summary. You can print or export this summary too - handy if you're meeting with an accountant or financial advisor.
  • Email statements - Email you personal account statements from NetBank. Save time (and avoid paper chaos) with our new statement feature. You can now email personal transaction and savings account statements to yourself or anyone you choose. Simply write your note and hit send. Go to View accounts > Statements > Select your account and choose the email icon next to the statement or statements you want to send.
