Cross currency conversion fee

When a purchase or ATM withdrawal is conducted in a currency that is not loaded on your card, or when we automatically transfer funds between the currencies on your card to enable the completion of a purchase or withdrawal

No fee is applicable. The rate applicable to the conversion is the retail foreign exchange rate at the time of the conversion

SMS alerts

When we send you alerts or when you request alerts of low card balance via SMS


Replacement Card

When you request replacement card(s) for lost/stolen card(s)

AUD 15.00 or foreign currency equivalent  

Emergency cash advance

When you request emergency cash to be issued due to both of your cards having been lost/stolen

When you request an emergency card to be issued while you are overseas if lost/stolen

Important information

The Card issue fee does not apply for full-time primary, secondary or tertiary students, if the Card is purchased at a Commonwealth Bank branch. 
No charge at any Commonwealth Bank or BankWest ATM in Australia.
ATM balance enquiries are not available at all ATMs.
Fees may be charged by other parties involved in the delivery of the emergency funds. 
Transfer is only available to a Commonwealth Bank transaction account. Any ATM withdrawal or balance enquiry fee will come from the currency for which you are using your card.
