Helping build the path to financial wellbeing from a young age

CommBank has a long standing commitment in supporting the financial capability of Australian children and teenagers. Our educational initiatives aim to teach kids the value of money and prepare them for the workforce of the future. See the full list of initiatives.

Our financial education programs and tools make an impact in three areas:

Helping parents

No one has more influence on a child’s financial skills than the parents. We’ve created programs and resources to give Mums, Dads and carers more confidence bringing money to life at home.

Engaging kids

To help kids develop good saving habits we offer School Banking, a fun and interactive way to learn about saving, along with the innovative CommBank Youth app.

Empowering educators

The Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards are now open for nominations. This is part of our
commitment to recognise and support teachers and schools leaders across Australia.
