Will my account number change?

No. You’ll keep the same account number and BSB, so you can continue to see all your past transactions in NetBank and the CommBank app.

What if I have other accounts linked to my card?

Any CommBank accounts you’ve linked to your card will be automatically linked to your new Platinum Debit card when you activate it.

What happens to my direct debits?

You’ll keep the same account number and BSB when you upgrade, so if your direct debits are attached to your account number, you don’t need to do anything

If you’ve set up direct debits simply switch them over to your new card. Our switching service can help you get started or simply contact your merchant

Always set up the direct debits using your BSB and account number. That way you won’t have to update your direct debits each time you receive a new card.

Things you should know

1 Guaranteed Pricing cover provides a refund for the difference in price, up to $500, if the same personal belonging is available at a cheaper price from a physical store (within a 25 kilometre radius from where you made the original purchase), provided the price difference is greater than $75. Items purchased or advertised exclusively on the internet are excluded. All claims must be submitted within 21 days of the purchase together with a copy of the store catalogue advertising the lower priced item.
