    • An eligible CommBank business account
    • To be a signatory on the account, where the method of operation is 'one to sign'
    • To be 18 years or older2

You can use controls on your card to manage your spending. Go to Card settings in the CommBank app to set up controls. 

Business Visa Debit Cards don't have a transaction limit, however the daily withdrawal limit is $2,000. You can change your withdrawal limit in the CommBank app or NetBank. Withdrawal limits are calculated on a 24-hour period, midnight to midnight (Syd/Melb time).

Each authority on a business account may only have one Business Visa Debit Card. Find out how to give someone access to your business account.

Your business account may be ineligible for a card or have restrictions on it. For the fastest way to find out why, message us in the CommBank app. Otherwise call us on 13 1998, or visit your nearest branch.

Your card may take up to 7 business days to arrive. If you haven't received your card by then, message us in the CommBank app.

You can activate and use your digital CommBank card while you wait for your physical card to arrive. 

The Business Visa Debit Card doesn't earn any points. 

Follow these instructions to activate your card in NetBank or the CommBank app. 

You can lock your card in the CommBank app or in NetBank. 

Locking your card won't prevent recurring payments and Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay transactions from being processed.

If you've locked your card because you've found a suspicious transaction, message us in the CommBank app and start the chat with "dispute transaction". Or you can call us any time on 13 1998.

Things you should know

  • 1Take your physical card when you travel overseas as not all countries have tap & pay widely available.

    An individual aged 16 or 17 may be eligible to hold this product if there is an individual who is 18 or over listed as an account authority on the linked eligible CommBank business transaction account.

    Transaction fees, charges and access fees (including international transactions) may apply on the Business Transaction Account or Society Cheque Account that's linked to your card.

    Excludes non-Commonwealth Bank ATMs here and all ATMs overseas, EFTPOS transactions overseas, transfer group payments to third parties, international money transfers, CommBiz and NetBank service fees and separate services such as bank cheques, periodic payments and transfers/deposits to other banks. Wholesale relationship managed customers may be notified at any time that their account is subject to transaction fees on electronic transactions and Commonwealth ATM cash withdrawals.

    You can add your CommBank business credit cards and Visa Business Debit card to Apple Pay. Some CommBank cards are ineligible for Apple Pay including Mastercard Business Debit Card and Corporate card.
