Creating and authorising payments
With CommBiz Mobile you can transfer funds between your own accounts, or make single payments to contacts in your address book. You can also authorise transactions - anytime, anywhere.
CommBiz clients with Admin role can get their business mobile by following these simple steps.
- Opt in on behalf of your business. Simply log on to CommBiz, go to Admin > Service > Preferences > Mobile and tick to enable CommBiz Mobile.
- Check that you and your users have been identified. To do this just log on to CommBiz, go to Admin > Users > Profiles, click Edit then select the Identification tab. Note that all token holders have already been identified. If a user hasn't been identified, complete the online form and instructions. For assistance around identification please call 13 23 39.
- Download the CommBiz Mobile app to your iPhone and/or iPad.

Before you begin, make sure that you have been personally identified as a CommBiz user by the Commonwealth Bank. If you haven’t, your administrator will need to complete the online form and instructions. Call 13 2339 to find out more.
Download and activate
It only takes a few minutes to get started. Visit The App Store and download the app to your iPhone or iPad.
The first time you log on, you’ll need to activate your app to make it fully secure. Simply answer a few security questions, accept the terms and conditions and wait for your device to be activated. Easy!
CommBiz Mobile helps you stay on top of your business’ cash flow position, anytime, anywhere.
Tap on the Accounts on the main menu to see real-time balances for up to 20 accounts — just swipe your finger upwards to see more. And if an account isn’t listed, you can find it using the handy search bar.
For more detail on recent transactions on an account, simply tap the account name. You can view up to 100 transactions from the last 30 days. Transactions are displayed in real time — so you’ll always know exactly what’s happening in your business, even when you’re out of the office.
Just because you’re traveling, it doesn’t mean important payments need to wait. With CommBiz Mobile, it’s easy to transfer funds and make payments on the go.
Tap Transfer on the main menu, choose the account you want to transfer from, then choose the account you’d like to pay.
You can transfer funds between your own accounts, or make single payments to contacts in your address book. All payments are authorised with your personal ID, password and one-time token password, so you can be sure you’re secure.
You can also authorise transactions anytime, anywhere.
From the Authorisations screen you can see transactions awaiting your approval and view up to 100 items at a time.
You can drill down for more detail by tapping an item in the list. Follow the links to see as much information as you need.
When you’re ready, select the payments you want to action, then tap Approve or Reject. You’ll be prompted for your ID, password and one-time token password - so you can be sure you’re secure.
View Outstanding FX Trades^
Viewing outstanding foreign exchange trades away from your desk has never been easier.
Simply tap Outstanding Trades on the main menu to view all outstanding foreign exchange trades along with any settlement instructions selected via CommBiz desktop.
And the handy search function allows you to quickly find a foreign exchange trade by beneficiary name or account number.
Authorise FX Settlements^
You can also authorise Foreign Exchange settlements while on the go.
From the FX Authorisations screen you can view all settlements awaiting your approval. For details and settlement instructions, just tap an item and follow the links.
And when you are ready to action, simply select Approve or Reject, then for security enter your ID, password and one-time token password. Easy, convenient and secure.
Stay up to date
Your CommBiz Mobile home page also shows important messages from the Bank. To read them, tap Broadcast Messages box on the main menu, then tap ← to read the next message or → to go back. Also with the Notifications feautre, you are able to customer notifications so that you can be altered to items that are important to you such as a certain transaction awaiting authorisations. You can customise which messages you receive in the Notifications Setup.
Confirm your details
Select ‘About’ from the main menu for more information about your service and for support details.
When you’re finished check there’s nothing else to authorise, then simply log out.
