What are the enhanced features?

CommBank’s Essential Plus terminal now supports the following features to bring a truly mobile payment experience for your hospitality business.

These are in addition to the existing Essential Plus standard features at no extra cost.


The following enhanced features may be available to businesses using an Essential Plus terminal and accredited POS vendor:

  • Pay@table: enable your customer to order and pay at the comfort of their seat
  • Percentage Tipping: provide a flexible range of percentage or custom tipping options
  • Split Billing: enable customers to split their bill either manually by dollar amount or equally by the number of customers

Frequently asked questions

These features are for hospitality customers to enable a more flexible payment option for their customers. For example, restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs.

To be eligible, you must have:

  • A CommBank Essential Plus terminal
  • A Point-of-Sale (POS) connected to a Linkly accredited POS vendor

Please check that you are connected to a Linkly accredited POS vendor

The enhanced features are only available to customers connected to a Linkly accredited POS vendor.

All of the enhanced features are available on the CommBank Essential Plus Terminal and CommBank is continuously looking to partner with more POS Vendors.

If your POS Vendor is not a Linkly accredited POS vendor, please contact them directly for information on connecting with CommBank enhanced features.

The POS enhanced features are currently only available on the CBA Essential Plus terminal.
