Yes, BeemTM is an independent company back by Australian payment provider eftpos.
If you suspect a fraudulent transaction has occurred on your CommBank account using BeemTM, please contact us on 13 2221 immediately.
When it comes to payment security, CommBank is a leader in fraud protection. And, if the unlikely happens and an unauthorised transaction occurs on your CommBank debit card, we’ll reimburse you 100%1.
Which cards are eligible?
At this stage, customers can only upload an Australian Visa or Mastercard debit card to the app. BeemTM are currently developing the functionality to use a credit card.
1 We’ll cover any loss due to unauthorised transactions on your CommBank account, as long as you protect your cards, devices, client numbers, PINs, passwords and any other access methods, and immediately notify us of their loss, theft or misuse or any suspicious activity on your account.
To make or receive a payment through the BeemTM app, a Visa or Mastercard debit card attached to an Australian bank account is required. Digital Wallet Pty Ltd ABN 93 624 272 475 AFSL 515270 is the issuer and provider of the BeemTM facility.
