From 14 March 2026, the Wealth Package/Mortgage Advantage will become a part of Standard Variable Rate and Fixed Rate home loans. This will also apply to any existing VLOCs which are linked to a Package.

No. From 14 March 2026, all new applications for Standard Variable Rate and Fixed Rate home loans will automatically include Package benefits.
If a loan contract for a Standard Variable Rate or Fixed Rate home loan without Package benefits was issued by your lender or broker on or before 13 March 2026, and your loan has not settled on or prior to that date, your loan can still be opened without Package benefits after 14 March 2026.

If you haven’t found a property and loan contracts haven’t been issued by 13 March 2026, you won’t be able to proceed unless:

From 14 March 2026, the $150,000 minimum lending balance requirement for Package eligibility will no longer apply.
The minimum loan amount for Standard Variable Rate and Fixed Rate home loans of $10,000 per loan will continue to apply.
No. If your existing Standard Variable Rate home loan, Fixed Rate home loan or VLOC isn’t linked to a Package, it will continue just as it is – there’s nothing you need to do.
If you choose to take out a new Standard Variable Rate or Fixed Rate home loan from 14 March 2026, it will automatically include Package benefits. If applicable, Package benefits will also apply to your existing Standard Variable Rate home loans, Fixed Rate home loans and VLOCs. Package benefits cannot be removed.
No. Package benefits cannot be opted out of, or removed, on or after 14 March 2026. This is regardless of when your next annual Package fee is due.

If you no longer hold eligible home loan(s), then your Package will be cancelled at the next annual Package Fee due date. The annual Package Fee will not be charged at Package cancellation. You may still receive Package benefits until the cancellation of your Package.
Yes. You can continue to enjoy your existing benefits. Plus, from 14 March 2026, you’ll receive access to an additional benefit: the Smart Awards credit card will be eligible for a fee waiver.

No. The annual Package fee will remain $395 per year and will be charged to one eligible home loan. In some situations, such as with Interest Only loans, the fee may instead be redirected to a related transaction account.
No. The annual Package fee will continue to be charged to one eligible home loan, or in some cases redirected to a related transaction account for the home loan (e.g. for Interest Only loans). The Package benefits will still apply to all eligible Packaged Loans.

Yes. You can still add, swap or remove Package Holders on your Wealth Package/Mortgage Advantage. Please contact us for further assistance.
Some Package-related letters, including the annual Package fee renewal letter, will no longer be sent.

If your request is processed on or after 14 March 2026, then Wealth Package / Mortgage Advantage benefits will become part of the loan contract for all your eligible Standard Variable Rate, Fixed Rate or VLOC loans. Refer to the Switching Terms and Conditions with effective date 13 February 2026 for more information.
If your request is processed prior to 14 March 2026, then Wealth Package / Mortgage Advantage benefits will not automatically become part of your loan contract.
