Terms & Conditions: Safe Custody Establishment Fee Waiver Offer

Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for the establishment fee waiver offer, the customer must have a new CommBank Everyday Smart Access account that was opened online or in branch between 1 October 2026 (12:01am, AEDT) and 30 April 2027 (11:59pm, AEST) (‘the offer period’); This offer is only available to customers who (a) have been in Australia for less than 12 months and over the age of 18 years old at the time of account opening (b) provide a valid international passport and visa and satisfy all existing Safe Custody eligibility requirements. Customers must establish a new Safe Custody Facility (excluding packets) during the offer period at a participating branch where the Safe Custody Facility is available For jointly held Safe Custody Facilities, the offer may be applied where at least one facility holder satisfies the offer eligibility criteria, provided all facility holders meet the applicable Safe Custody eligibility requirements. Customers who currently hold an existing Safe Custody Facility are not eligible for this offer.

Facility Availability

This offer does not guarantee the availability of a Safe Custody Facility. Safe Custody Facilities are available only at selected branches and are subject to branch, vault, and product availability. Please click on the link for branch availability . Customers who meet the eligibility requirements may be unable to establish a Safe Custody Facility where suitable facilities are unavailable.

Important Information

The offer does not alter the existing Safe Custody Product Terms and Conditions, eligibility requirements, operational requirements or facility limits. All Safe Custody applications remain subject to standard approval and facility eligibility requirements, including the requirement that a customer may only hold access to one Safe Custody Facility. The offer applies only to the Safe Custody Facility establishment fee and does not apply to any other Safe Custody Facility Fees and Charges. The offer is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. This offer may only be redeemed once per customer. Subsequent establishment fees will apply for each new Safe Custody Facility established. CommBank reserves the right to withdraw, extend, amend or terminate the offer at any time without notice, except where prohibited by law.
