Impacted by Coronavirus travel restrictions or newly arrived?

  • For the latest news on Australia's immigration and border arrangements, visit the Department of Home Affairs website.

If you’re able to come to Australia, ensure that you’re ready for your arrival and comply with any requirements specific to your situation, such as having a valid visa, proof of vaccination or exemption, pre-departure COVID-19 tests, and checking quarantine requirements in the state or territory you’re travelling to.

If you’ve already opened an account, but haven’t been identified yet, please note that you won’t be able to deposit funds or transact on your account until you complete ID verification at a branch in Australia. Once you arrive, ensure you follow any necessary requirements or guidelines before coming into a branch to be identified.

We’re aware of the impact this will have on some of our customers and are doing everything we can to try and minimise this. If you have specific queries you can contact our International team on or by calling +61 (0)2 8055 4145. You can find other ways that we can help customers on our dedicated coronavirus page –
