The reference rates listed below are our variable interest rates before any discounts have been applied, such as Wealth Package discounts or personalised rates tailored at application submission.
When interest rates increase, your minimum required repayment amount may also increase. We’ll give you notice before the new amount takes effect.

If your repayments are increasing and you’d like to start paying the new amount sooner, you have the option to update your direct debit using our Change Repayment tool in the CommBank app or NetBank from 28 March. Doing this early may help reduce the interest you pay over the life of your loan. The tool will show you what your new repayment amount will be.
In the meantime, if you’d like to understand how your repayments might change, you can use our home loan repayments calculator, select 'input interest rate' and add the 0.25% p.a. increase to your current rate, then adjust the loan amount and term to match your situation.
The interest payable and your payment will automatically increase from 27 March and will follow your regular payment cycle. From 28 March, you’ll be able to see your new interest rate in the CommBank app and NetBank.

1Any customer opening their first NetBank Saver from today will receive a variable introductory interest rate for the first 5 months after account opening. The variable introductory rate is currently 4.70% p.a. (increasing to 4.95% p.a. from 27 March 2026), which includes a fixed bonus margin currently at 3.00% p.a. and the NetBank Saver standard variable interest rate, currently 1.70% p.a. (increasing to 1.95% p.a. from 27 March 2026). At the end of the introductory rate period, the NetBank Saver standard variable interest rate applicable at that time will apply. This introductory rate offer is available for a limited time only and the Bank reserves the right to terminate this offer at any time. The variable introductory interest rate will not apply to NetBank Saver accounts which are jointly owned where one of the account holders has previously held a NetBank Saver account.
