Understanding your Single Rate Per Transaction statement

At the top right hand side of your statement, you’ll find your merchant number, account number, account name, address and BSB. You may be able to change your account details or change your business address online if you need to. You’ll need to tell us your merchant number if you give us a call.

The essentials

This shows your statement period, the net amount of transactions you took through your merchant facility, and the total amount of fees you paid including GST.

Summary of fees

This lets you know your monthly plan fee and any ancillary fees you paid. Here’s where you’ll find the fees charged as a percentage of the total turnover for each card type e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex. Single Rate Per Transaction simplifies your pricing by charging the same rate for Visa, Mastercard, eftpos, Amex and UnionPay.

Transaction summary

Your transaction summary shows the total number of transactions, value of sales, total number and value of refunds or returns, and net totals broken down for each card type. Fees include GST unless stated otherwise.

Ancillary fees

This section breaks down any extra fees you may be charged for your merchant facility, including costs for additional terminal rentals, authorisations fees, chargeback fees and stationery fees.
