Preparing for your Merchant transition
We’re upgrading our merchant technology platform. To support your merchant transition, we need more information about your current setup across your CommBank merchant facilities which may include merchant EFTPOS terminals, eCommerce payment products or both.
If you currently use a CommBank merchant facilities, please complete this form so we can understand how your business accepts payments today and plan the appropriate next steps for your business.
Why we need your information
The information you provide helps assess future compatibility requirements, identify whether any updates may be required, and determine the appropriate transition pathway for your business and minimise disruption during the transition process.
Before you start
This form is for customers who use CommBank merchant facilities, including merchant EFTPOS terminals, eCommerce payment products, or both. Some questions relate to merchant EFTPOS terminals only, some relate to eCommerce only, and some may apply to both. Please complete the questions that are relevant to your business.
Where a question does not apply, please select Not applicable or enter N/A where requested. We'll contact you to seek more information on your business setup across your multiple business entities if required.
If you use a Point of Sale (POS) system with your merchant terminals, you will need your (POS) information, including its version number. You can find this information in the Properties or About section of your POS system or alternatively contact your POS provider for assistance.
What you need to do
To determine the appropriate pathway for your upgrade, please complete the Merchant Transition Form. You’ll need your Customer Identifier shown in the email or letter you received.
Please review each question and provide the most accurate information that you can.
We'll also request contact information for your IT or onsite manager or another relevant business contact for your merchant EFTPOS terminals and/or eCommerce payment products to coordinate your transition and minimise disruption to your business.
What happens next
Once you submit the form, we'll review the information you provide to support your transition plan. If we need anything further, or if action is required from your business, we will contact you using the details in our systems or the contacts you provide in the form.

Your Relationship Manager or a member of our transition team may contact you to seek more information on your business setup across your multiple business entities if required.
