  • Report lost, stolen or damaged cards
  • Lock your card temporarily if you’ve misplaced it and want to prevent it from being used while you look for it

We’ve updated the app to make it safer and easier to do your banking.

You won’t be able to access the old app version once it’s updated. We understand that it can take some time to get used to the new version, but you can use the search bar to find anything you need if you get stuck.

We’re progressively rolling out the app update over the next two weeks. To update the app yourself, go to Google Play or the App Store, search for the CommBank app, and tap ‘Update’.

You can still log out of the CommBank app whenever you like. Simply click into your profile in the top-left corner and then tap the ‘Log off’ button. The CommBank app will be automatically logged out after 15 minutes of leaving the app or earlier, depending on the auto-log off settings chosen in the app.

    You can use the CommBank app if you have an everyday account with us and you’re registered (or are eligible to register) for NetBank. You’ll need:

    • An email address and valid mobile number to receive NetCode SMS; and
    • The latest version of the CommBank app

    The CommBank app is available on Android operating systems 8.0+ and iOS operating system 15+.

  • How to use the CommBank app

    To use the CommBank app, you’ll first need to download it from the App Store, or Google Play. Then, you’ll need to register.

Pay – your way – with your phone

  • Pay who you want, the way you want

    • Pay without cash using Tap & Pay on your phone so you won’t have to touch a PIN pad
    • Receive, make and split payments using PayID
    • Add a Siri Shortcut to quickly transfer money or pay someone from your CommBank address book (available on iPhone devices with iOS 12 or later)
    • Shop now, pay later with Klarna

    If you store your loyalty cards in the app, you can also collect points on your purchases.
