  • If you have a CommBank debit or credit card1, you can view your digital card details in the CommBank app. Use these details to shop online, pay bills, manage recurring payments or set up a digital wallet to shop in store.

    Plus, if you’re waiting for a new or replacement debit card, you’re able to start using your digital debit card straight away, before your physical card arrives in the mail.  

How to use your digital card

Start using the digital version of your card today in the CommBank app.

To view your digital card details:

1. Log in to the CommBank app, go to the ‘Cards’ tab and select the card you wish to use

2. Tap ‘Show’ to view your card details (card number, expiry date and CVC)

3. Tap the ‘Copy’ icon to easily copy your 16-digit card number when shopping online.

This button copies the 16-digits of your card number only. You will need to manually enter your expiry and CVC to complete an online purchase, manage recurring payments or set up a digital wallet.

Yes, digital card details are only available in the CommBank app.

If you have an eligible CommBank debit card, your digital card will have a unique CVC that is different to what is shown on your physical card for security purposes. While your physical card is in the mail, you can use your digital debit card CVC. After you’ve activated your physical card, either CVC can be used to make online or recurring purchases and set up digital wallets.

Yes, you can still use your digital debit card CVC after activating your physical card, and both CVCs will work.

Yes, your digital card doesn’t rely on the physical card being activated.
