General account management

You can no longer change the account your interest is paid from in NetBank.

If you've already chosen to have your interest paid from a certain account, your existing arrangement will continue as normal. However, you won't be able to update or change it in NetBank.

Ordering a replacement for a damaged card is currently unavailable in NetBank. You can still request a replacement card using one of the options below:

CommBank app

  1. Go to the Cards tab
  2. Select the card you want to manage
  3. Select Report lost, stolen or damaged card
  4. Follow the prompts

Your current card will continue to work until your replacement arrives.

Contact us or visit a branch

If you don't use the CommBank app, we can replace your damaged card.

Credit Cards

Managing AutoPay is no longer available in NetBank. If you've already set up AutoPay, it will continue to work as normal.

To set up, change or cancel AutoPay, use one of the options below.

CommBank app

  1. Go to the Accounts tab
  2. Select the credit card account
  3. Select Manage
  4. Select Set up AutoPay or AutoPay set to (for cancelling and changing)
  5. Follow the prompts

If you don’t use the CommBank app, we can change or cancel AutoPay.

SurePay plans are no longer available to manage in NetBank. If you already have a SurePay plan, it will continue as normal.

To set up, view or manage a SurePay plan, use one of the options below.

CommBank app

  1. Go to the Accounts tab
  2. Select the credit card account
  3. Select Manage your repayments with SurePay
  4. Follow the prompts to set up, view or manage your SurePay plan

If you don’t use the CommBank app, we can change or cancel SurePay.

Setting or managing a spending cap is no longer available in NetBank.

If you've already set a spending cap, it will continue to work as normal. To set, change or remove a spending cap, use one of the options below:

CommBank app

  1. Go to the Cards tab
  2. Select the credit card account
  3. Select Go to Card Settings
  4. Select Spending cap
  5. Follow the prompts

If you don’t use the CommBank app, we can change or cancel your spending cap.

The optional reminder sent five (5) days before your credit card repayment due date and periodical balance notification is no longer available. You don’t need to do anything.

 When eligible, you’ll continue receiving your repayment reminders:

  • Three (3) days before your repayment is due
  • One (1) day before your repayment is due
  • On the day your repayment is due

These reminders will continue to help you stay on top of your repayments.

You can continue to check your balance in the CommBank app and in NetBank.

You can also manage your notification preferences in the CommBank app

Switching to a different credit card is no longer available in NetBank. You can still compare eligible credit cards and switch your existing credit card using one of the options below.

CommBank app

  1. Go to the Accounts tab
  2. Select the credit card account
  3. Select Manage
  4. Select Switch credit card
  5. Review available options and follow the prompts

If you don’t use the CommBank app, we can switch your existing credit card to another eligible CommBank credit card.

Money Management Tools

The Past Bill Payments page is no longer available in NetBank.

You can still find your past BPAY payments in your account transaction history and statements.

The Financial Toolkit page is no longer available in NetBank.

You can still access the same information throughout NetBank. You’ll find account information on the relevant account pages and product information on our website.

Setting up and managing savings goals is no longer available in NetBank.

You can continue to create and manage your savings goals in the CommBank app. Recurring transfers are still available in both NetBank and the CommBank app.

Daily IQ is no longer available in NetBank.

You can use the business cashflow feature in the CommBank app.

Features no longer available

General account management

Sending documents by email directly from NetBank is no longer available.

To email a document:

  1. Download the document from NetBank to your device
  2. Open your preferred email service
  3. Attach the document to an email and send it

Exporting transactions in OFX and QIF formats is no longer available.

You can continue to export transactions from NetBank in CSV format.

Setting a default account for payments is no longer available in NetBank.

When you make a payment or transfer, you’ll need to choose the account to pay from each time.

The Online Activity page is no longer available in NetBank.

You can no longer download an Offer Confirmation Letter for savings products in NetBank. The relevant information can be found on the Account Information screen.
