To close your account online make sure

  • Your balance is paid in full so there’s nothing owing, including accrued interest and fees
  • There aren’t any pending transactions on the account

Keep in mind

  • After you submit your request we’ll let you know if your request was successful or not
  • If successful, you’ll receive confirmation your credit card is closed and a final statement will be sent
  • If unsuccessful, give us a call or visit your nearest branch so we can help you

CommBank app

  1. Log on to the CommBank app
  2. Tap View accounts > then choose your credit card
  3. Tap settings in the top right hand corner > then Close credit card account
  4. If you’re eligible read the Things to know about closing your credit card account
  5. Tap Continue at the bottom > then Close account

NetBank

  1. Log on to NetBank
  2. Click View accounts
  3. Choose your credit card account using the drop-down menu
  4. Click the Account settings drop down
  5. Click Close my credit card account
  6. Read the Things to know about closing your credit card account
  7. Tap Continue at the bottom > then Close account
