How is a spending cap different from a transaction limit?

Last updated 28 September 2017

A spending cap lets you cap a portion of your limit and is collectively applied to all your purchases (excluding direct debits, BPAY® and scheduled payments). A spending cap will remain in place until you switch it off and does not have a time period attached to it.

A transaction limit is applied to each individual transaction.
