Types of transactions

When they appear in NetBank

NetBank transfers / Bill payments from your account

NetBank transfers between your linked accounts

NetBank transfers to your account from another CBA NetBank customer

Available balance, account balance and transaction history updates immediately.

NetBank scheduled transfers / Bill payments

NetBank schedules that have failed previous attempts (due to lack of funds) will be re-tried on the next bank business day.

NetBank International Money Transfers 

Will show as submitted until the transaction is processed on the next business day.

Direct debits / Automated Funds Transfers (AFTs)

Not processed on public holidays and weekends – if your regular direct debit hasn’t been processed before the weekend, please make allowances.

Cheques deposited and waiting for clearance

Public holidays and weekends don’t count in cheque clearance days – i.e. cheques deposited on the last business day before a public holiday will reflect in your account balance but will not appear in your available balance for 3 business days.
