Can I get a quote for the damage to my property while I wait for a claims assessor?

Yes, you can have a tradesperson give you a quote for the damage but it’s important not to start any repair work until our assessor has inspected your property. The only time repairs should be done is if they’re emergency repairs that need to be carried out to prevent further damage.

It’s a good idea to keep copies of any quotes you receive so you can give them to our assessor.
