No, you won’t be covered for any loss, damage or liability to your vehicle that occurs while it’s being driven by someone under 30, even if it’s an emergency.

There are a few exceptions you should know about. We will cover your vehicle if it’s being driven by someone under 30 who:

  • Is carrying out a mechanical service
  • Has been paid by you to repair or test your vehicle
  • Is providing a valet parking service
  • Is an attendant at a car park
  • Is subsequently convicted of the theft or illegal use of your vehicle
