If I restrict cover to drivers over 30 and someone under that age drives my car in an emergency, will they be covered?

No, you won’t be covered for any loss, damage or liability to your vehicle that occurs while it’s being driven by someone under 30, even if it’s an emergency.
There are a few exceptions you should know about. We will cover your vehicle if it’s being driven by someone under 30 who:
- Is carrying out a mechanical service
- Has been paid by you to repair or test your vehicle
- Is providing a valet parking service
- Is an attendant at a car park
- Is subsequently convicted of the theft or illegal use of your vehicle
